Location-Based Service Terms (Location Data Consent)

These terms govern the collection and use of location data by the Paceleague app ("Service"), provided under Korea's Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information. They apply specifically to location data, separately from the general Privacy Policy.

1. Data Controller

2. Location Data Collected and Method

• GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) and movement path recorded during a run
• Collected only while you actively use GPS tracking or the "Land-it" territory feature — never in the background when the app is not running a session.

3. Purpose of Use

• Calculating distance, pace, and calories
• Verifying the authenticity of a recorded route (e.g. detecting non-running movement)
• Determining hexagon territory ownership in the "Land-it" feature
• Season ranking calculation

Location data is never used beyond these purposes.

4. Retention Period

Location data is permanently deleted immediately upon account withdrawal. Records of location data use/provision are retained separately for 6 months as required by law before deletion.

5. Third-Party Disclosure

The Company does not share your location data with third parties. If this ever changes, you will be notified in advance of the recipient, purpose, timing, and retention period, and separate consent will be obtained.

6. Right to Refuse and Consequences

You may refuse to consent to location data collection. However, since GPS-based run tracking and the "Land-it" territory feature are core to this Service, refusal may prevent account registration or use of those features.

7. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account. All held location data is deleted immediately upon withdrawal.
